Module 1: Radical self-care strategies*
Getting to the root of your pattern of “burning the candle at both ends” and moving out of it
- You will create and maintain at least 2 health routines that can make a radical positive change in your mental and physical wellbeing
- Focus areas can include sleep, healthy eating, movement, mindfulness, relaxation or dealing with emotions
- You will practice coming back to balance, to your core internal stability and peace or..
- ... if the emotional intensity of the events is high, you will learn how to remain present and engaged
Module 2: “Contracting” abilities
Creating a purposeful and lighter workload
- You will get clarity on how can your work align better with your deeper values and life goals
- You will create a plan for “re-contracting” conditions of your work that are no longer matching your needs and values
- You will set healthy boundaries through authentic conversations
- You will practice making soft and hard requests that will make your workload purposeful and lighter
- You will experience increased motivation and feeling in control of your work

Module 3: Delegation
Letting go and letting others step in, take responsibility and maximise impact
- This module will create the space to successfully delegate in at least one important area where you feel overwhelmed right now
- You will identify processes that can be externalized and the right people who can become your partners in co-creating a vision and delivering with higher impact
- You will have a feeling of "more” hours in the day and more freedom to act
- That will release time for you to recharge, spend more time with family and friends
Module 4: Managing conflicts and hard conversations
When conditions around you are pushing you towards full burnout, the answer is not more resilience. The answer may be to take the bull by the horns and have that hard conversation, and eventually make that change you dream of.
- The module will support you to assess your environment
- You will have clarity over how to deal with toxicity or conflicts
- You will create a space for you to confront safely, with confidence, at least one conflictual situation you are currently facing right now
- You will focus on consolidating your position in your team, organisation or professional community

This program was born after I recovered from my own experience of burnout.
Burnout really took me by surprise. I am healthy, I do sports regularly, eat clean, have been meditating for 14 years, and have an amazingly supportive partner, family and friends. Still, burnout took me down and I could not work for two months. What I had failed to see was that some of my deep work and relational patterns, combined with two years of external shocks, had slowly weakened my resilience.
First, it was the pandemic, with the isolation and ripples of fear everywhere around me. One year in, my father was diagnosed with cancer. We lost him after a gruesome one year fight with the disease.
I do love my work, but taking on too many projects, working on several time zones, creating space and offering flexibility where actually boundaries were needed, led to problems in some of the projects I had. That was the trigger point and the crisis unfolded like a snowball. Everything became “too much”.
The events brought to the surface my deeper patterns: I had always been a hard worker with a full plate at work. From a young age, my nervous system had thrived on adrenaline and adapted to function well in complex and difficult contexts. This began when I started competitive swimming at the age of five. I had two swimming trainings session each day, attended school, then did my homework before going to bed. I had time to play only on Sundays. As an adult, I found myself drawn to the most complicated situations, or craving a heavy workload. Having a simple job was not just boring to me, it felt like a fate worse than death. A long vacation would plunge me into depression. I thrived in urgency, and the adrenaline rush was too familiar to refuse. I set lofty goals for myself, and when I achieved them I would never celebrate. I just sought out the next ambition. If you are an “achiever”, you know what I am talking about.
Breaking free from such a structure is not easy. My entire personal identity revolved around achieving something. Take that out, and get ready for chaos.
Looking back, the burnout experience was a blessing in disguise. It provided me with the opportunity for a complete RESET. Growth is the most important value in life, so I found out where I was compromising my self-care and my deepest life values. I confronted what I had been avoiding, established boundaries. I took 100% responsibility for my physical, emotional and mental health: I educated myself about sleep, food, the latest research on exercise and its impact on the autonomic nervous system. I made lifestyle changes and observed how my body and mind responded to the changes. I welcomed the emotional ups and downs. I asked for help and worked with experts.
At the time, those two months did not feel pleasant, but now I can genuinely say that I am grateful for the experience. It took my life to an entirely new level of self-care, self-awareness and a different kind of productivity – one that is not fuelled by the adrenaline rush, but by purpose and alignment with who I am at a deeper level.
